10 years past

Yea, I haven’t done anything for this site in the past 10 years. Now, Anson is already 10 years old.

Time flies….

On Friday night, he dropped another tooth, and I am still a tooth fairy for him. Currently, he needs to prepare for the Mark Twain exam. However, we stuck on writing the paragraph to compare two pictures. But we won’t give up, I will help him to try again!

First Birthday

AJ's first Birthday party was held on Aug 30, 2015 (Sunday).  We called all of our friends, family members to come to our house to have the BBQ birthday party.  Robin made the most of the BBQs.  We took a lot of pictures and kids played around the backyard, and inside of the house.  We all had fun.  At the moment when we sang the birthday song for AJ, he realized that this is his birthday party and he was very excited.  He raised both of his hands up and showing that he is strong enough to stand by himself and showing his happiness to everyone.  Everyone was so excited and surprise to see what he did.  It was an unforgettable birthday party.  I was so blessing to have everyone came to the party, and Thank You everyone!

At home-Postpartum period >.<

I can't believe that I waited two years to come back to this site and write about my postpartum period.  Well, let me try to remember...

It wasn't very bad, just eat, eat, sleep, do a little bit of exercise, and take care of my precious baby Anson.  I waited a month to take a shower, shampoo my hair.  Time went very fast, I just know that I use boiled ginger water to wash myself from head to toe.

I wasn't allow to go downstairs (much) to take care of my baby, but I still did, and at night, my husband will bring the baby up from downstairs so I can take care of him.  I also tried to pump milk, so he can have a little bit of the breast milk, I tried hard to get as much as I could...

At night, Anson sleeps in his own crib, wakes up once till the morning, it wasn't bad except some crying before sleeping, and we all tried to get used to his schedule and I had do some planning about his feeding schedule.

The Second day- The finger

The nurse taught us how to change for him, how many hours in between each feeding.  So we did and I think we handled it well.  The 2nd day afternoon, I think it was about the time he needs his next meal, he sucked his finger into his mouth.  The nurse came by and said " Oh, this baby can suck his finger already?"
